How to measure yourself
 
Our garments ordered online are all custom made for each client. Slightly different to ready to wear stores we ask that you provide us with your measurements and lining choice(s) after you have checked out your basket.
 
Once you have chosen your garments, we will prompt you to send us your measurements. You can find below an explanation of how to take these measurements. We do recommend you ask a friend to give you a hand!

HOW TO MEASURE FOR YOUR JACKET

 

1- Sleeve length

Wearing a jacket you like the fit of (if possible) measure from you shoulder point down to where you would like your sleeve to finish. Make sure to keep a relaxed arm when measuring and do not pull the tape measure taught (this will lead to an inaccurate measurement). This is your sleeve measurement.

2- Chest/bust measurement

2a - Bust - Remove your jacket. Wrap your tape measure around the largest point of your chest making sure to keep a relaxed posture and keeping the tape level at the front and back of the body. This is your chest measurement.

2b - Under bust - Remove your jacket. Wrap your tape measure around your under bust making sure to keep a relaxed posture and keeping the tape level at the front and back of the body. This is your underbust measurement.

3- Jacket Waist measurement

Remove your jacket. Wrap your tape measure around the largest part of your waist (generally this is just below your belly button) making sure to keep a relaxed posture and keeping the tape level at the front and back of your body. This is your jacket waist measurement.

4- Seat/hip measurement.

Remove your jacket. Wrap the tape measure around the largest part of your seat (buttocks) making sure you do not have any keys, phones, wallets in your pockets and are keeping the tape level at the front and back of the body. This is your seat measurement.

5- Jacket back length measurement.

Wearing a jacket (if possible), place the tape measure at the nape of the neck, just below where the collar would start. Holding it in place, let the tape measure hang from this point and with your other hand gently push the hanging tape into the curve of the lower back. Look to see where you would like the jacket to finish and take not of the measurement. This is your back length measurement.

6- Shoulder measurement.

Wearing a jacket (if possible) place the tape measure on the shoulders, starting at on should point, straight across to the other. If measuring without a jacket as reference, you should be measuring from the point just before the bone of your shoulder starts to curve. This is your shoulder measurement.



HOW TO MEASURE YOUR TROUSERS

 

7 - Trouser waist measurement

Wrap the tape measure around your waist where you would like you trouser band to sit. This is your trouser waist measurement.

8 - Out seam measurement

Hold the tape measure at the point where your waistband will start and let it hang to the floor. Hold the tape measure with the other hand at the point you would like your trousers to finish and take note of the measurement. This is your out seam measurement.

9 - Inseam measurement

Hold the tape measure on the inside of your leg, where your crotch starts and let the tape hang to the floor. Hold the tape measure with the other hand at the point you would like your trousers to finish and take note of the measurement. This is your inseam measurement.

10 - Seat/hip measurement

Wrap the tape measure around the largest part of your seat (buttocks) making sure you do not have any keys, phones, wallets in your pockets and are keeping the tape level at the front and back of the body. This is your seat measurement.

11 - Thigh measurement

Wrap the tape measure around the largest part of your thigh, standing straight. This is your thigh measurement.
